LIFE MIXED WITH COLOURS

12 SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME God of the universe, we worship you.  God, ever close to us, we rejoice to call you Father.  From this world's uncertainty we look to your covenant.  Keep us in your peace, secure in your love.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  (Prayer of the Church) Prayer of Victory The Lord is my protector, he is my strong fortress. My God is my protection, and with him I am safe. He protects me like a shield, he defends me and keep me safe. He is my saviour, he protects me and saves me from my enemies. Praise the Lord. The waves of death were all round me; The waves of destruction rolled over me. The danger of death was round me, and the grave set its trap for me. In my trouble I called to the Lord. I called to my God for help.                                           In his temple he heard my voice,                                                    he listen to my cry for help. . .

HAVE MERCY ON US O LORD

My Thought In our normal state, except with the divine grace of God, we can never understand the weaknesses of others because God’s grace is with us to protect and shield us from temptation (preservation from God). This we must not take for granted. We must ask God to protect us from a judgmental spirit, a spirit of self-righteousness and pride.   He alone can protect us from these destructive evils. We bear the consequences of our actions or other people’s actions due to their evil tendency which makes us victims and their prey.   In the course of every event of our lives, we need the divine guidance, and protection of God.   When we focus on God in our challenges and sufferings, we are strengthened.   We gain more wisdom and become better persons.   We are not hardened we are given hearts of flesh so that we can be of help to others who may need our help, our support, our comfort’ etc. A Christian should not run away from problems.   What we need to do is to as

DO NOT WEEP

TENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME    Fear not says the Lord.   Our fears are our worst enemies.   Yes it stares us on our faces, if we can conquer our fears, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Question about Misery Why let people live in misery? Why give light to those in grief? They wait for death, but it never comes, They prefer the grave to any treasure. They are happy till they are dead and buried. God keeps their future hidden and hems them in on every side. Instead of eating I mourn, and I can never stop groaning.                                            Everything I fear and dread comes true.                                   I have no peace, no rest and my troubles never end.                                                                                                                                                 Job 3:20-26 psalm 142 The good thing about suffering is that we are in communion with God.   We fee
