Merry Christmas

My Creed

I would be true,

for there are those who trust me;

I would be pure,

for there are those who care;

I would be strong,

for there is much to suffer;

I would be brave,

for there is much to dare;

I would be friend to all;

the poor, the friendless;

I would be giving,

and forget the gift;

I would be humble,

for I know my weakness;

I would look up and laugh – and love – and lift.

Reflection

Lord fill your people with whatever good they need, let the mystery of your birth be the source of our peace.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, guide me to choose good, not evil; and strength, not weakness.  Help me to choose creatively with the knowledge that I am sustained by your enormous strength, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, this is a wonderful law ; that those who think the thoughts of God have the blessing of God flowing  into them. Help me, now, to change my attitudes and become a different person, thinking different thoughts, so that by my changed attitudes everything will change.

For this I give Thee thanks, through Jesus Christ. Amen.
