GLORIALITURGY

As we celebrate and offer our daily offerings in our daily Mass on God's Altar in remembrance of Christ Sacrifice, may God destroy every evil altar in our homes, families and lives.

SAINT ANDREW

St. Andrew
You are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones and members of the household of God,
built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ
Jesus himself as the capstone.  Through him the whole structure is
held together and grows into a temple sacred in the Lord; in him
you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the
 Spirit.   Eph.2:19-22

FINEST PRIZE

It is better to have virtue, even if it means having no children.  Your virtue will be recognized by other people and by God, and you will be remembered for it for ever.  Virtue provides an example for people to follow; when it is not there, they miss it.

It has always been the finest prize a person can win, and it also will be so.
It is the noblest of all the good qualities a person can have.   wis. 4:1-2

MY THOUGHTS

I pray to God that my thoughts may be worthy of what I have learnt,
and that I may speak according to his will.  He is wisdom's guide;
he gives correction to those who are wise.

We are under his power and authority; we ourselves, our words,
all our understanding and skills. Wis. 7:15-16

EDIFICATION

No foul words should come out of your mouths, but only such as good
for needed edification, that it may impact grace to those who hear.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which you were sealed for the day of redemption.

All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling must be removed from you,
along with malice.

And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.  Eph. 4:29-32

WALK IN TRUTH

Chosen Lady:
I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking
in the truth just as we were commanded by the Father.
But now, Lady, I ask you, not as though I were writing a new
commandment but the one we have had from the beginning:
let us love one another.

For this is love, that we walk according to his commandments;
this is the commandment, as you heard from the beginning,
in which you should walk……. 2 John 4-9

GOD SAVED US BY HIS OWN COMPASSION

Remind your people that it is their duty to be obedient to the officials and representatives of the government; to be ready to do good at every opportunity; not to go slandering other people or picking quarrels, but to be courteous and always polite to all kinds of people. Remember, there was a time when we too were ignorant, disobedient and misled and enslaved by different passions and luxuries; we lived then in wickedness and ill-will, hating each other and hateful ourselves.

But when the kindness and love of God our saviour for mankind were revealed, it was not because he was concerned with any righteous actions we might have done ourselves; it was for no reason except his own compassion that he saved us, by means of the cleansing water of rebirth and by renewing us with the Holy Spirit which he has so generously poured over us through Jesus Christ our saviour. He did this so that we should be justified by his grace, to become heirs looking forward to inheriting eternal life.  Titus 3: 1-7

SOUND DOCTRINE

Beloved you must say what is consistent with sound doctrine,
namely, that older men should be temperate, dignified,
self-controlled, sound in faith, love, and endurance.
Similarly, older women should be reverent in their behavior,
not slanderers, not addicted to drink,
teaching what is good, so that they may train younger women
to love their husbands and children,
to be self-controlled, chaste, good homemakers,
under the control of their husbands,
so that the word of God may not be discredited…….

A PRAYER FOR HELP AGAINST SIN

I wish that a guard could be placed at my mouth, that my lips could be wisely sealed.
It would keep me from making mistakes and prevent me from destroying myself with
my own tongue.

O Lord, my Father and Master of my life, do not leave me at the mercy of my own  words, don't let them cause my downfall.  I wish I could be whipped for my thoughts, so that Wisdom could discipline my mind.  I would not want to be spared when I am
wrong; I would not want a single sin overlooked. Then I would not keep on sinning, making one mistake after another.  I could not fall to my enemies and be humiliated
by them.

O Lord, my Father, God of my life, keep me from being arrogant, protect me from
evil desires. Keep me from being overcome by greed or lust; do not leave me at the
mercy of shameless passions.   Sir. 22:27, 23:1-4

GOD'S HOLY TEMPLE

Do you not know that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone destroy's God's temple,

God will destroy that person;
for the temple of God,
which you are, is holy.  1 Cor. 3:16-17

GOD'S PROMISE OF HOPE

I am going to gather the people from all the countries where I have scattered them in my anger, and fury, and I am going to bring them back to this place and let them live in safety, Then they will be my
people, and I will be their God.

I will give them a single purpose in life to honour me for all time, for their own good and the good of their descendants.

I will make an eternal covenant with them.  I will never stop doing good things for them, and I will make them fear me with all their heart,  so that they will never turn away from me.

I will take pleasure in doing good things for them, and I will establish them permanently in this land.

Jer. 32: 37-41

Amen. May this be your lot in most Holy name of Jesus Christ.

GOD'S UNFAILING LOVE

God's unfailing love and mercy still continue.
Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.
The Lord is all I have, and so I put my hope in him.

The Lord is good to everyone who trusts in him.
So it is best for us to wait in patience, to wait for
him to save us, and it is best to learn this patience
in our youth.

When we suffer, we should sit alone in silent patience.
We should bow in submission, for there may still be hope.
Though beaten and insulted, we should accept all.
The Lord is merciful and will not reject us for ever.
He may bring us sorrow, but his love for us is sure
and strong.
He takes no pleasure in causing us grief of pain.
Lam. 3:22-33

THE REWARD OF A GOOD PERSON

Praise the Lord.  Happy is the person who honours the Lord,
who takes pleasure in obeying his commands.
The good man's children will will be powerful in the land;
his descendants will be blessed.

His family will be wealthy and rich, and he will
be prosperous for ever.

Light shines in the darkness for the good people,
for those who are merciful, kind, and just.
Happy is the person who is generous with his loans,
who runs his business honestly.

A good person will never fail; he will always
be remembered.
He is not afraid of receiving bad news;
his faith is strong, and he trusts in the Lord....  Psalm 112

GOD'S PROMISE

I will establish my people in  the land and make them prosper.
I will show love to those who were called unloved,
and to those who were called 'Not my People'.
I will say, "Your are my People", and they will answer,
"You are our God".

Prayer : Lord God, king of heaven and earth, direct our minds and bodies throughout this day, and make us holy.  Keep us faithful to your law in thought, word and deed.  Be our helper now and always, free us from sin, and bring us to salvation in that kingdom where you live and reign with the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Dearest brother,

I have you staring at me, smiling with me, the beautiful buttons on your cheeks that we call dimples.
I remember you as one who always have beautiful word to say.

Dearest brother, as I write this little note to you in your memory, I feel you standing beside me looking at the beautiful words I made for you.

Dearest brother.

TRUE DISCIPLE – THE SAINTS

May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation resulting in knowledge of him.  May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call, what are the riches of glory in his inheritance among the holy ones.  Eph. 1:17-18

Prayer:

ALL SAINTS
O God, source of all that is holy, you have let your holiness shine in many marvellous ways through the lives of your saints, help us to celebrate your greatness in them.

The lives of your saints have given testimony of your Son, through their example may we draw closer to him.

King of heaven, through your saints you have given us the courage to follow after your Son, help us to imitate the example of the saints who show us the way to Christ.

Father, in the Eucharistic sacrifice you unite us more fully with those who now live in your kingdom, by our frequent sharing in the body and blood of your Son bring us to the company of the eternal banquet.  Pauline Prayer of the Church
