GLORIALITURGY

As we celebrate and offer our daily offerings in our daily Mass on God's Altar in remembrance of Christ Sacrifice, may God destroy every evil altar in our homes, families and lives.

EASTER

EASTER

We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we to might live in newness of life. Rom. 6:4

When you are betrayed how do  you feel?
When people whom you love betray you how do you feel?
When friends and your loved ones abandon you how do you feel?

When you are hated for doing good how do you feel?
When you are wrongly accused how do you feel?
When you are lonely and needed some comfort but left all by yourself, how do you feel?
When you are mocked at by those you helped, how do you feel?
When you are misunderstood how do you feel? etc
Christ suffered it all yet he loved us so much, he did good while on the way to Calvary,
He forgave, he prayed and gave it all for you and I.

GOOD FRIDAY

When Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come to be, passing through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not belonging to this creation, he entered once for all into the sanctuary, not with the blood of goats and calves but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.  For if the blood of goats and bulls and the sprinkling of a heifer's ashes can sanctify those who were defiled so that their flesh is cleansed, how much more will the blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to worship the living God........... Hebrew9:11-28

The Following songs for prayer and meditation is taken from the Catholic Hymn Book and Psalm 126(125) of the Holy Bible.

EASTER TRIDUUM - HOLY THURSDAY

Easter Triduum

At the Lamb’s high feast we sing
Praise to our victorious King,
Who hath washed us in the tide,
Flowing from his pierced side,
Praise we him whose love divine,

Gives the guest his blood for wine,
Gives his body for the feast,
Love the victim, love the priest.

Where the Pascal blood is poured,

Death’s dark angel sheathes his sword,
Israel’s hosts triumphant go,
Through the waves that drowns the foe,
Christ, the Lamb whose blood was shed,
Pascal victim, Pascal bread,
With sincerity and love,
Eat we manna from above.

PALMS SUNDAY (PASSION SUNDAY)

PASSION SUNDAY

ALTAR RED

Rejoice heartily, O daughter of Zion, shout for joy, O daughter of Jerusalem.  See, your king shall come to you, a just saviour is he, meek and riding on an ass, on a colt, the foal of an ass.  Zec.9:9

 Zacharie 9:9

FEAST OF ST. PATRICK

SAINT PATRICK

When you cannot go on with the burden and challenges of life let this be a reflection, and call for repentence. We must pay for all our actions or those of other people.  Let this passage be your reflection.
                                                                                                                                        Deuteronomy 32

                                                                The Song of Moses

Earth and sky hear my words, listen closely to what I say.
My teachings will fall like drops of rain, and form on the earth like dew.
My words will fall like showers on young plants, like gentle rain on young plants.
I will praise the name of the Lord and his people will tell of his greatness.
The Lord is your mighty defender, perfect and just in all his ways.
Your God is faithful and true he does what is right and fair.
But you are unfaithful, unworthy to be his people, a sinful and deceitful nation.
Is this the way you should treat the Lord etc.

God is not unjust he permit us to bear the consequences of our actions

WEEK FIVE OF LENT

FIFTH WEEK OF LENT

‘‘Come now, let us reason together,’’ says the LORD.  ‘‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool’’. Isaiah 1:18

‘’I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remember your sins no more.’’  Isaiah 43 :25

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts.  Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.  Isaiah 55:7
