GLORIALITURGY

As we celebrate and offer our daily offerings in our daily Mass on God's Altar in remembrance of Christ Sacrifice, may God destroy every evil altar in our homes, families and lives.

THE BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST

Mark 14:12-16,22-26 ©
This is my body; this is my blood
On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was sacrificed, his disciples said to
Jesus, ‘Where do you want us to go and make the preparations for you to eat the passover?’ So he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, ‘Go into the city and you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him, and say to the owner of the house which he enters, “The Master says: Where is my dining room in which I can eat the passover with my disciples?” He will show you a large upper room furnished with couches, all prepared. Make the preparations for us there.’ The disciples set out and went to the city and found everything as he had told them, and prepared the Passover.
And as they were eating he took some bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to them. ‘Take it,’ he said ‘this is my body.’ Then he took a cup, and when he had returned thanks he gave it to them, and all drank from it, and he said to them, ‘This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, which is to be poured out for many. I tell you solemnly, I shall not drink any more wine until the day I drink the new wine in the kingdom of God.’
After psalms had been sung they left for the Mount of Olives.

FORGIVENESS AND RECONCILIATION

You have heard that people were told in the past, ‘Do not commit murder; anyone who does will be

brought to trial.  But now I tell you whoever is angry with his brother will be brought to trial, whoever calls his brother you good-for-nothing! Will be brought before Council, and whoever call his brother worthless fool will be in danger of going to the fire of hell.  So if you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother and come back and offer your gift to God.   Matt. 5:21-24

We need to forgive one another and eschew anger from our hearts.

It is difficult but with the grace of God we can.

THE BEAUTY OF LAUGHTER

Healing to the soul
Healing of the spirit
Healing to the body

The beauty of laughter

It gives assurance
It drives away fear
It drives away suspicion
It drives away grief

The beauty of laughter

Why don’t we laugh the more?
Laughter is the essence of our being
It is like a light that brightens our world

So when I meet you on the way
To drive away my doubts
To give me the assurance I need
To give me security
I need you to laugh.

Let it come from the heart
Let it be genuine
The beauty of laughter.

SOLEMNITY OF THE HOLY TRINITY

Go and make disciples of all nations
The eleven disciples set out for Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had arranged to meet them. When they saw him they fell down before him, though some hesitated. Jesus came up and spoke to them. He said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, make disciples of all the nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.’

UNITY IN CHRIST

1 Corinthians 12:3-7,12-13      In the one Spirit we were all baptized

No one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord’ unless he is under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
There is a variety of gifts but always the same Spirit; there are all sorts of service to be done, but always to the same Lord; working in all sorts of different ways in different people, it is the same God who is working in all of them. The particular way in which the Spirit is given to each person is for a good purpose.
Just as a human body, though it is made up of many parts, is a single unit because all these parts, though many, make one body, so it is with Christ. In the one Spirit we were all baptized, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as citizens, and one Spirit was given to us all to drink.

PRAYER FOR SERENITY

Come to me, all you that labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you.

PRAYER FOR SERENITY

God grant me the Serenity to accept the things
I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the
Wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time:
Enjoying one moment at a time.
Accepting hardship as the pathway of peace.

Taking as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will.

That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.
