18TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Store up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor decay can destroy.

IF I WERE JESUS

The earthly Jesus in every human:

I will be very proud knowing that my I came from my heavenly kingdom.

I will be arrogant knowing that my Father God is the Omnipotent, Omniscience and Omnipresent.

I will use my power and flaunt it for all to know that I am the Son of God.

I will choose those who love me and reward them because they Love and flatter me.

I will perform miracles and make sure that I receive praises.

I will appear and disappear to show how powerful I am.

I will in the wilderness, do what I was tempted to do

Whenever I want to heal, deliver and perform any miracles

I will make it public to receive men’s approval

I will amass wealth and flaunt it for all to see.

The bread that is my body in the Eucharist,

I will make sure that all see my really flesh,

The wine that I that is my blood during the institution of the Lord’s super,

I will make sure it is really blood for all to see.

Above all, on the cross at my crucifixion as I am asked to come down

from the cross so that the world will believe that I am truly the Son of God

I will surely show them that t is within my power do so that I can.

There are many challenges and audacity for me to prove that I am the Son of God,

that I will not hesitate to prove my identity as the Son of the Most High God.

Trying to claim equality with my heavenly Father, not being humble to

 accepting a shameful death.

Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you

 

WE ARE ALL BEGGARS

Do not look down on the man or woman by the road side or at your place of worship who ask you for alms.

Do you not know that we are no better that man or woman we consider as a beggar?

Someone ask you for help, assistance, because you are privileged, you consider yourself better than that man or woman who need your assistance.  You have forgotten that you too had begged to be given the privilege position you are in.  Why then do you feel  that  you are better than the one who asked for your help?  Are you better than that man or woman?

No. you are not better than him or her, think, if someone ask for your help, say within you.  I too I am a beggar, so I must not hesitate to assist for it is within my power to do so.

Do not consider yourself better than anyone you think is underprivileged as a beggar. No one ever achieve anything in life without the assistance of another, and above all favor from God whom we all look up to for our sustenance, hope, dreams and aspirations.

God’s gift to some is manifold so that they too can act like HIM by giving to those whom HE has placed on our way.  Those you meet, those who come to you for help.  If you do not give to the one Who asked you for help knowing it is within your ability, power and capacity, then you are holding on to something that belong to the one whom you refuse to assist, or whom you consider as a beggar.

Be human, have a heart of flesh, a heart full of love, a heart full of compassion, a heart full of sympathy a heart full of understanding, a humble heart, and the heart full of MERCY.  THE HEART OF CHRIST.

                                                        Prayer

O Jesus Christ, Divine Master, I thank and bless your loving Heart for the great gift of the Holy Eucharist. Your love makes you dwell in our tabernacles, to renew your passion and death in the Mass, to give yourself as food for our souls in Holy Communion.

May I come to know you, O hidden God. May I drink from the fount of living waters that flow from your Heart. Grant me to visit you every day in this holy sacrament; to assist at holy Mass with understanding, to receive you in holy communion often and with the proper disposition. May all men respond to your invitation, “Come to me all you who are burdened.”

 

AT THE LAMB'S HIGH FEAST

 

The gospel must not be kept hidden because of fear or indifference.  It was never meant to be hidden away in private.  It has to be put on a stand so that people may see its light and give praise to our heavenly Father (Pope (Saint) John Paul II).

God is with us

God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the ocean depths, even if the seas roar and rage, and the hills are shaken by the violence.

There is a river that brings joy to the city of God, to the sacred house of the Most High. God is in that city, and it will never be destroyed; at early dawn he will come to its aid.

Prayer

O Lord, hear my voice when I call; have mercy and answer me.

Of you my heart has spoken, ‘’Seek his face.’’

It is your face, O Lord, that I seek; hide not your face from me.

Dismiss not your servant in anger, you have been my help.

                                                Lord Jesus, I am a Child

I thank you for the love of my father and mother.

They brought me into the world.

Lord, there are many children who were not given the opportunity to live,

To enjoy family life.

I pray for babies who were aborted, whose destinies were denied.

I pray for abandoned children, most especially babies who died in the cold.

I pray for babies and children murdered by their mothers.

I pray for babies and children murdered by their parents.

Lord, I ask that if there are babies out there in the cold abandoned,

that you send angels to them to save them and shelter them.

I pray for babies and children killed during war and terrorist attacks.

Lord, so many babies and children are helpless,

                                           they are in danger. I pray, Lord Jesus, that you protect all babies and children.
