RELIGION AND ART

MY DAILY JOURNEY WITH CHRIST We were told that the Holy Mass is the greatest prayer and sacrifice. It is true.   Furthermost we do not know how to pray at Mass or offer our petitions.   Christ died, he suffered for our sake to take away all our burdens, and pains.   Most time we carry these burdens all through our lives. He asked us to come to him all who are burden and heavy laden, that he would give us rest. For his yoke is easy and his burden is light.   That he is meek, lowly and gentle of heart that we will find rest for our soul, Take  Christ for his word, He is the image of our Heavenly Father, He reveals God’s love for us. My daily journey with Christ is the Holy Eucharist, and daily attendance of Holy Mass.   At Mass the sacrifice of Christ is celebrated which surpasses all sacrifice, the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.   The one made a curse to redeem us from every curse and power of evil.   For ...

MONDAY PRAYER O, Lord, you have favored your land and brought back the captives of Jacob. You forgave the guilt of your people, and covered all their sins. You averted all your rage, you turned back the heat of your anger. Bring us back, O God, our saviour. Put an end to your grievance against us. Will your anger last from age to age? Will you not restore again our life, that your people may rejoice in you? Let us see, O Lord, your mercy, and grant us your salvation. psaume 142

Readings 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time Father what a delight.   Lord Jesus I feel like laughing. Laughter is good for the heart, the soul and the spirit. Dear Lord share in my joy this morning.   Give me a joyful heart. Help me dear Lord to share this joy with other children.   GOD MY PROTECTOR I look to the mountain, where will my help come from? He will not let me fall, the protector of Israel never doses or sleeps. The Lord will guard me, he is at my right side to protect me. The sun will not hurt me during the day, nor the moon during the night. The Lord will protect me from all danger, he will keep me safe. He will protect me as I come and go now and forever.    Psalm 121 Father, help me to trust in your goodness.
