‘I tell you solemnly, one of you is about to betray me.’
First Reading Isaiah 50:4-9 Who thinks he has a case
against me? Let him approach me
Does anyone
start proceedings against me? Then let us go to court together. Who thinks he
has a case against me? Let him approach me. The Lord is coming to my help, who
will dare to condemn me?

Gospel Matthew 26:14-25 'The Son of Man is going to his fate, as the scriptures say he will'
One of the Twelve, the man called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, ‘What are you prepared to give me if I hand him over to you?’ They paid him thirty silver pieces, and from that moment he looked for an opportunity to betray him.
Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus to say, ‘Where do you want us to make the preparations for you to eat the passover?’ ‘Go to so-and-so in the city’ he replied ‘and say to him, “The Master says: My time is near. It is at your house that I am keeping Passover with my disciples.”’ The disciples did what Jesus told them and prepared the Passover.
When evening came he was at table with the twelve disciples. And while they were eating he said ‘I tell you solemnly, one of you is about to betray me.’ They were greatly distressed and started asking him in turn, ‘Not I, Lord, surely?’ He answered, ‘Someone who has dipped his hand into the dish with me, will betray me. The Son of Man is going to his fate, as the scriptures say he will, but alas for that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! Better for that man if he had never been born!’ Judas, who was to betray him; asked in his turn, ‘Not I, Rabbi, surely?’ ‘They are your own words’ answered Jesus.
My God, deliver me from the hands of my enemies. Those who plot evil against me. Father, I have done them no wrong. Save me Father, from betrayal. Jesus, I trust in you. Virgin Mary, pray for me. Saint Joseph, pray for me. My Angel Guardian, pray for me. Pray the Rosary.

Évangile Matthieu 26,14-25 «Le Fils de l'homme s'en va, comme il est

Alors, l'un des
Douze, nommé Judas Iscariote, alla trouver les chefs des prêtres et leur dit:
«Que voulez-vous me donner, si je vous le livre?». Ils lui proposèrent trente
pièces d'argent. Dès lors, Judas cherchait une occasion favorable pour le
livrer.
Le premier jour de la fête des pains sans levain, les disciples vinrent dire Ã
Jésus: «Où veux-tu que nous fassions les préparatifs de ton repas pascal?». Il
leur dit: «Allez à la ville, chez un tel, et dites-lui: ‘Le Maître te fait
dire: Mon temps est proche; c'est chez toi que je veux célébrer la Pâque avec
mes disciples’». Les disciples firent ce que Jésus leur avait prescrit et ils
préparèrent la Pâque.
Le soir venu, Jésus se trouvait à table avec les Douze. Pendant le repas, il
leur déclara: «Amen, je vous le dis: l'un de vous va me livrer». Profondément
attristés, ils se mirent à lui demander, l'un après l'autre: «Serait-ce moi,
Seigneur?». Il leur répondit: «Celui qui vient de se servir en même temps que
moi, celui-là va me livrer. Le Fils de l'homme s'en va, comme il est écrit Ã
son sujet; mais malheureux l'homme par qui le Fils de l'homme est livré! Il
vaudrait mieux que cet homme-là ne soit pas né!». Judas, celui qui le livrait,
prit la parole: «Rabbi, serait-ce moi?». Jésus lui répond: «C'est toi qui l'as
dit!».
Mon Dieu, délivre-moi des mains de mes ennemis, de ceux qui complotent contre moi. Père, je ne leur ai fait aucun mal. Sauve-moi de la trahison. Jésus, j'ai confiance en vous. Vierge Marie, priez pour moi. Saint Joseph, priez pour moi. Mon ange gardien, priez pour moi. Priez le chapelet.
