On the day of Pentecost they had all gathered together in one place.

        
MARY QUEEN OF APOSTLES PRAY FOR US


Mighty and wonderful are your works, 
Lord God Almighty.
Righteous and true are your ways
O king of the nations.

Who would dare refuse you honour,
Or the glory due to your name, O Lord!
Since you alone are holy,
All nations shall come and worship in your presence.
Your mighty deeds are clearly seen.   Rev. 15:3-4



PRAYER

God our Father, let the Spirit you sent on your Church to begin the teaching of the gospel continue to work in the world through the hearts of all who believe. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever.

Prayer before Mass:  Almighty and ever-living God, I approach the sacrament of Your only-begotten Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. I come sick to the doctor of life, unclean to the fountain of mercy, blind to the radiance of eternal light, and poor and needy to the Lord of heaven and earth. Lord, in Your great generosity, heal my sickness, wash away my defilement, enlighten my blindness, enrich my poverty, and clothe my nakedness.
