RELIGION AND ART

God is wise and powerful! Praise him for ever and ever. He controls the times and seasons; he makes and unmakes kings; it is he who gives wisdom and understanding. He reveals things that are deep and secret; he knows what is hidden in darkness, and he himself is surrounded by light. I praise you and honour you, God of my ancestors. My Prayer Psalm 23 Do not, however go against the truth, and remember that you do not know everything. Don’t be ashamed to confess your sins; there is no point in trying to stop a river from flowing.   Don’t allow yourself to be dominated by someone who is stupid or show partiality to influential people. It is a happy person who is concerned with Wisdom and who uses good sense.        Anyone who studies the way of Wisdom will also learn her secrets.   Go after Wisdom like a hunter looking for game.   Look into her window and listen at her Doors.   Camp as close to her as you can get, and you will have a fine place to live.   Build your home there, safe beneath her protecting branches, and shaded from heat. Sir. 14:20-27 Psaume 19B

Wisdom 4 :1-3 It is better to have virtue, even if it means having no children. Your virtue will be recognised by other people and by God, And you will be remembered for it for ever. Virtue provides an example for people to follow, when it is Not there, they miss it.   It has always been the finest prize a Person can win, and it always will be so.
