Lord I am helpless without you.

Lord I feel empty without you.

Lord, I cannot move without you.

Lord, my imagination fails without you.

Lord, my creativity fails, without you.

Lord, my vision is blocked, without you.

Lord, my spirit is dead, without you.

Lord, my effort is useless, without you.

Lord, my sight is limited, without you.

Lord, my wisdom is nothing, without you.

Lord, my being is useless, without you.

Lord, my life is meaningless, without you.

Lord, these and others makes me helpless.

Father, I am helpless without you.

Jer. 14:17-21
Psaume 51
Let my eyes run down with tears, night and day, may not cease,
for the virgin daughter of my people is afflicted with a great
affliction, a most grievous wound.

If I go out to the field, see those slain by the sword.
And if I enter the city, see, those sick from famine.
Both the prophet and the priest have travelled
to a land they know not.

Have you rejected Judah (us) completely?
Does your soul detest Zion?
Why have you struck us down with no hope of our healing?
We wait for peace, but find no good; for a time of healing,
but see, terror.

We acknowledge our wickedness, O Lord, our ancestors'
iniquity, for we have sinned against you.
Do not spurn us, for the sake of your name,
nor dishonor your glorious throng.
Remember, do not break your covenant with us!

FEAST OF ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

Mother of Perpetual Help, aid me ever to call upon your powerful name,
since your name is the help of the living and salvation of the dying, Mary most pure, Mary most sweet, grant that your name from this day forth may be to me the very breath of life.  Dear Lady, do not delay in coming to help me when I call upon you, for in all the temptations that trouble me, in all the needs of my life, I will ever call  upon you, repeating: 'Mary, Mary'

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus; Holy Mary mother of God, pray for us sinner now and at the hour of our death.  Amen

Glory be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

We fly to thy patronage, O Holy mother of God, despise not our petition, in our necessities but deliver us from all danger, O ever glorious and Blessed Virgin.

SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

 FEAST OF ASSUMPTION

I rejoice heartily in the Lord, in my God is the joy of soul; for he has clothed 

me with a robe of salvation, and wrapped me in a mantle of justice, 

like a bride bedecked with her jewels.

 

Prayer:

All-powerful and ever-living God, you raised the sinless Virgin Mary, mother of your Son, body and soul to the glory of heaven. May we see heaven as our final goal and come to share her glory. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,

 implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins,

 my mother, to thee do I come before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the world incarnate, despise not my petitions,

 but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

TALKING TO GOD THE FIRST TIME

TALKING TO GOD

A friend of mine tried to pray.  This was my friends awareness of God having woken up in the morning as be assured of HIS love and presence.  Most time we are conscious of
God, we direct our thoughts to HIM.  It never occurred to us that we are PRAYING.

Since we are not aware that prayer is simply having heart to heart conversation with God,
most time we say we do not know how to pray.

As I wake

Psalm 19

God holds my hand
He guides me through my life
and helps me say my prayers

and when I arrive
at my final sleep
he leads me up the stairs
and through the gates
to heaven

I see the stars
I can touch the moon
I cry

a tear
From Gods
forgiving eye

LOVING HEART OF CHRIST

Prayer

O Jesus Christ, Divine Master, I thank and bless your loving Heart for the great gift of the Holy Eucharist. Your love makes you dwell in our tabernacles, to renew your passion and death in the Mass, to give yourself as food for our souls in Holy Communion.

May I come to know you, O hidden God. May I drink from the fount of living waters that flow from your Heart. Grant me to visit you every day in this holy sacrament; to assist at holy Mass with understanding, to receive you in Holy Communion often and with the proper disposition. May all men respond to your invitation, “Come to me all you who are burdened.”
